India A Fightback: Sai Sudharsan remained unbeaten on a brilliant century as India A reached 247 for 1 against Sri Lanka A, with Devdutt Padikkal providing outstanding support on day two.

India A Fightback: India A produced a dominant batting display on the second day of the second unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A, finishing the day at 247 for 1 in their first innings. The visitors are now just 119 runs behind Sri Lanka A’s first innings total with nine wickets still in hand.
Sai Sudharsan led the charge with a composed unbeaten 104, continuing his impressive run with the bat. Devdutt Padikkal also played a fluent innings and remained not out on 94, as the pair stitched together a valuable partnership that placed India A in a commanding position heading into the third day.
The only wicket to fall for India A was opener Aman Mokhade, who scored 38 before being dismissed by Keshara Nuwantha. After the early breakthrough, Sri Lanka A bowlers struggled to make further inroads as Sudharsan and Padikkal controlled the innings with disciplined stroke play.
Earlier in the match, Sri Lanka A were bowled out for 366 in their first innings. With both set batters still at the crease, India A will aim to erase the deficit quickly and build a substantial lead in the remaining stages of the contest.
