Telangana Breakfast Scheme: The Telangana Breakfast Scheme has officially begun in government schools, benefiting thousands of students while ensuring better nutrition, improved attendance, and a stronger learning environment.

Telangana Breakfast Scheme: The Telangana Breakfast Scheme was officially launched in government schools on the first day of the new academic year, marking a significant step toward improving student welfare and classroom participation. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated the Telangana Breakfast Scheme at Raj Bhavan School in Hyderabad and interacted with students during the event.
As part of the Telangana Breakfast Scheme, teachers and school staff personally served breakfast to students, creating a welcoming atmosphere as schools reopened across the state. The initiative aims to ensure that children begin their school day with a nutritious meal, helping them stay active and focused during classes.
According to government estimates, the Telangana Breakfast Scheme will benefit nearly 1.44 lakh students studying in government schools. Officials believe the program will play an important role in improving student attendance, concentration levels, and overall academic performance.
The launch of the Telangana Breakfast Scheme reflects the state’s continued focus on strengthening public education and supporting students from economically weaker backgrounds. By providing breakfast before classes, the government hopes to address nutritional needs and create a healthier learning environment.
Alongside the Telangana Breakfast Scheme, the government also made arrangements for the distribution of textbooks and notebooks on the very first day of school reopening. Officials ensured that educational materials reached schools in advance so that students could begin the academic year without delays.
Education department authorities stated that both the Telangana Breakfast Scheme and timely distribution of learning materials are part of broader efforts to improve the quality of education in government schools across the state.
