Bus Turns Into Fireball After Highway Crash Near Bardoli
Six people lost their lives and several others suffered injuries when two transport buses collided near Bardoli, leading to a massive fire and emergency rescue operation.

A major highway tragedy unfolded near Bardoli in Gujarat when two transport buses were involved in a violent collision, leaving six people dead and more than twenty passengers injured. Officials have indicated that the casualty count may increase as some victims are undergoing critical treatment.
Emergency services, including firefighters and police teams, arrived at the accident location soon after alerts were received. Rescue personnel worked alongside local residents to pull passengers from the damaged buses and provide immediate assistance.
Investigators said one of the buses, registered in Maharashtra, struck another transport bus near Uva village in Surat district. The force of the impact caused one vehicle to veer across the divider before overturning on the opposite side of the road.
The situation became more severe when the overturned bus suddenly caught fire. Flames rapidly spread through the vehicle, destroying large sections of it before firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control.
Most of the injured passengers were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Authorities noted that a significant number of those travelling on the buses were from Maharashtra.
Police officials said rescue and assessment work continued for several hours after the accident. The exact circumstances behind the collision are being investigated, and additional information is expected once the inquiry progresses.
