After cooling, they can be stored in a glass jar inside the refrigerator. Many working professionals prefer this technique because the leaves are ready to use immediately and often add an even richer flavor to dishes.

Experts also point out a common mistake that shortens the life of curry leaves. Many people place them under direct sunlight to dry faster. While this may remove moisture quickly, it can also reduce the leaves’ natural fragrance, flavor, and nutritional value. Drying them in the shade or under a fan is considered a much better option.
