Major Breakthrough in NEET UG 2026 Leak Case as CBI Nabs Pune Tutor
The CBI arrested a Pune based chemistry trainer accused of secretly sharing NEET UG 2026 exam content with students through paid coaching sessions before the test was conducted.

The investigation into the NEET UG 2026 examination controversy has taken another serious turn after the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested a chemistry trainer from Pune over alleged question paper leaks.
Officials said the accused, P V Kulkarni, was linked to academic work connected with the National Testing Agency. Investigators suspect he illegally accessed sensitive exam material and passed it to a small group of students ahead of the medical entrance test.
According to the probe team, Kulkarni allegedly organised special coaching sessions from his home and collected large payments from candidates seeking an advantage in the examination. The leaked material is believed to have focused mainly on chemistry related questions.
The agency has also identified a woman named Manisha as another important link in the operation. She is accused of helping coordinate students for the coaching network and was arrested earlier during the investigation.
So far, eight people have been taken into custody in connection with the case. The CBI is continuing searches in multiple locations and examining mobile phones, laptops and documents collected during raids.
The issue sparked nationwide anger after students and parents raised doubts over the fairness of the NEET UG examination conducted on May 3. Following growing criticism and leak allegations, the National Testing Agency cancelled the test and announced a fresh examination.
The revised NEET UG exam is now scheduled for June 21. Officials said new admit cards for candidates will be made available on June 14.
