PM Modi Predicts BJP Rise in Telangana During Hyderabad Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party workers and the public at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, where he projected strong confidence about the BJP’s future in Telangana. Referring to the party’s success in West Bengal at the grassroots level, Modi said BJP workers in Telangana were showing similar energy and determination, indicating a growing political shift in the state.

The BJP leadership in Telangana treated the public meeting as a major political event and made extensive preparations across Hyderabad. Roads and junctions in several parts of the city were decorated with saffron banners, party flags, flex boards, and giant cutouts welcoming the Prime Minister.

Before reaching the Parade Grounds venue, Modi attended a private programme in Gachibowli. Later, nearly 100 elected corporators and councillors reportedly lined up to welcome him on his arrival in Secunderabad. Senior BJP leaders and Union ministers also participated in the public meeting before the Prime Minister delivered his address to party supporters for around 40 minutes.

PM Modi’s Remarks on Gold Purchases

During his speech, Modi made notable comments regarding gold buying habits in the country. He suggested that people should stay away from purchasing gold for at least a year, saying excessive imports were putting pressure on India’s foreign exchange reserves.

He also encouraged citizens to reduce petrol and diesel consumption wherever possible. According to him, lowering fuel usage would help the country economically and reduce dependence on imports. His remarks quickly became one of the main talking points from the Hyderabad rally.

Tight Security Across Parade Grounds

Authorities imposed strict security arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit. Around 2,500 police personnel were deployed in and around the Parade Grounds area to monitor the event and control crowd movement.

Senior officers including DCPs, Additional DCPs, ACPs, and inspectors supervised the arrangements. Bomb disposal squads, sniffer dogs, OCTOPUS teams, and special operation units conducted thorough inspections before the programme began.

Police also strengthened CCTV surveillance around the venue and made security screening compulsory at every entry gate. Restrictions were imposed in areas including Begumpet, Bowenpally, and Marredpally, where drones, UAVs, banners, cameras, and certain public display materials were temporarily banned as part of precautionary measures.
