PM Kisan Scheme Beneficiaries Get Major Alert Before Next Installment

The Central Government has asked PM Kisan beneficiaries to complete eKYC immediately, warning that farmers who fail to update details may miss the upcoming 23rd installment payment.

Farmers waiting for the next PM Kisan installment have received an important warning from the Central Government. Officials have clarified that beneficiaries must complete their eKYC process to receive the upcoming 23rd installment under the PM Kisan scheme.

The government is expected to release the next installment around June or July. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to transfer the funds directly into farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer system, continuing the practice followed in previous installments.

Authorities have clearly stated that farmers who fail to complete eKYC may not receive the next payment. Along with eKYC, beneficiaries have also been advised to link their Aadhaar numbers with their bank accounts and ensure their mobile numbers are updated.

Farmers can complete the eKYC process in three different ways. They can update details through the official PM Kisan website, use the PM Kisan mobile application, or visit nearby Common Service Centres for assistance. Officials say the process has been simplified to help farmers complete verification without difficulty.

The government has also intensified re verification of beneficiaries to remove ineligible names from the scheme. Officials are checking records regularly to identify people who do not qualify for PM Kisan benefits.

According to the guidelines, farmers who purchased agricultural land after February 1, 2019 are not eligible for the scheme. In addition, only one member from a family can receive benefits under PM Kisan.

Authorities are also using Income Tax Department data to identify individuals who continue to receive benefits despite paying income tax. Such names are being removed from the beneficiary list during the verification process.

Government data shows that beneficiary numbers have been changing continuously due to these verification drives. Officials say the aim is to ensure financial support reaches only genuine and eligible farmers under the scheme.

Experts advise farmers to complete eKYC and update bank details as early as possible to avoid delays or rejection of payments in the upcoming installment cycle.
