A young cricketer from Rajanna Sirisilla district has earned a place in Oman’s Under 14 team and will represent the country at a national tournament in Tamil Nadu.
Sirisilla Cricket Player: A schoolboy from Rajanna Sirisilla district has earned a place in Oman’s Under 14 cricket team for the CBSE National Cricket Championship. He is now preparing to represent Oman in the tournament to be held in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in October.
Parthu, son of Kondeti Devender of Narayanapur in Ellareddypet mandal, lives in Oman with his family. He is studying Class 7 at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir in Muscat.
Cricket has been Parthu’s favourite sport since his Class 3 days. What started as an interest gradually turned into regular practice and school-level competitions. He represented his school in several matches and impressed with his performances.
That progress has now taken him to the Oman squad for the CBSE national championship. Parthu will get the chance to play against school teams from different parts of the country during the tournament in Madurai.
His selection has brought happiness to his family as well as people in Narayanapur. A boy from the small village is now getting an opportunity to play on a national stage while representing Oman.
For Parthu, the October tournament will be another important chapter in his cricket journey. It will also give the young player a chance to test himself against new opponents and gain experience at a higher level.
