Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless and True Wireless 5 Launch in India

Sennheiser has expanded its premium audio range in India with the launch of the Momentum 5 Wireless headphones and Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds. Both products focus heavily on sound quality, noise cancellation and extended battery life.

The Momentum 5 Wireless is priced at Rs 39,990, while the Momentum True Wireless 5 costs Rs 29,990. Both devices are currently available for preorder, with sales scheduled to begin on October 1 through the companys official website, online platforms and offline retail outlets.

Customers who preorder either product will also receive a Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth USB dongle at no additional cost. The accessory is priced at Rs 5,990 separately according to the supplied information.

The larger Momentum 5 Wireless headphones feature 42mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver detailed audio. The headphones support high resolution audio, Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless and Dolby Atmos with interactive head tracking.

Noise cancellation is another major focus. Sennheiser has equipped the headphones with an eight microphone hybrid adaptive ANC system that can adjust to surrounding conditions. Four microphones are dedicated to calls, while beamforming and noise reduction technology are designed to improve voice clarity.

The headphones support Bluetooth 5.4 and work with several audio codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive. This gives users flexibility depending on their smartphone and audio source.

Battery life is one of the strongest features of the Momentum 5 Wireless. It uses a 700mAh replaceable battery and can deliver up to 57 hours of playback with ANC enabled. A quick 10 minute charge can provide up to seven hours of playback, according to the supplied specifications.

Battery performance depends on the noise cancellation setting. With ANC switched off, the earbuds can provide up to 12 hours of playback, while ANC enabled reduces playback time to up to six hours. The charging case increases total listening time to as much as 40 hours.

Both the earbuds and charging case use replaceable lithium ion batteries. The case supports USB Type C charging as well as Qi wireless charging, giving users two ways to recharge the setup.
