Oppo K14 Plus 5G India Launch Set for September 29

Oppo is preparing to launch the K14 Plus 5G in India, with the company already revealing several major details ahead of the official debut. The smartphone is being positioned around battery endurance, display quality and long term performance.

The Oppo K14 Plus 5G will make its India debut on September 29 at 12 noon. After the launch, the smartphone will be available through Flipkart and Oppos official website. A Flipkart microsite has already revealed much of the phones design and specifications.

The battery is one of the biggest highlights of the upcoming device. Oppo has equipped the K14 Plus 5G with an 8000mAh battery and 45W SuperVOOC Flash Charge support. The company claims the large battery can deliver up to 705.4 hours of standby time.

Oppo has also provided usage figures for several everyday activities. According to the company, the phone can support up to 30.33 hours of WhatsApp voice calls, around 15.03 hours of Instagram browsing and approximately 12.64 hours of BGMI gaming.

The company is also highlighting long term battery durability. Oppo claims the battery can retain up to 80 percent of its capacity after six years under its stated conditions. The company is promoting the phone with a six year smoothness and reliability focus.

Performance will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset. Oppo says the processor has crossed the one million mark in AnTuTu testing. Actual performance can vary depending on software, applications and usage, but the chipset is expected to handle multitasking and demanding smartphone activities.

The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Oppo is also offering up to 16GB of RAM expansion, allowing part of the available storage to be used to support memory intensive tasks.
