Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Gets Rs 23000 Price Cut

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available at a lower price with a bank discount, while its 200MP camera, Snapdragon processor, large foldable displays and premium features remain attractive.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 5G has become a more interesting option for buyers looking for a premium foldable phone at a lower price. The previous generation model is currently listed on Amazon with a substantial reduction from its original launch price, along with an additional bank offer.

The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 5G is listed at Rs 1,54,999. Samsung originally launched the same configuration in July 2025 at Rs 1,74,999. This means the current listed price is Rs 20,000 lower than the launch price.

There is also an additional discount available for eligible Axis Bank credit card transactions. Buyers can reportedly receive an instant discount of 2.5 percent, limited to Rs 3,000. After applying the maximum bank discount, the effective price can come down to Rs 1,51,999.

That puts the potential saving at around Rs 23,000 compared with the original launch price. The offer makes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 worth considering for customers who want a foldable Samsung phone without paying the earlier launch price.

Despite being an older model, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 still carries flagship level hardware. It features an 8 inch QXGA Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex inner display with a resolution of 1856 by 2160 pixels. The inner screen can reach up to 2600 nits peak brightness.

When the phone is folded, users can access a 6.5 inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display. It has a 1080 by 2520 pixel resolution and a 21 by 9 aspect ratio, making the outer screen suitable for regular smartphone tasks without opening the device.

Performance comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM in the discounted configuration, while the 256GB internal storage provides space for applications, photographs, videos and other files.

The phone also runs Android 16 based One UI 8 according to the supplied specifications. Samsungs software experience remains one of the key reasons buyers may consider its foldable devices, particularly those already using other Galaxy products.

Photography is another major highlight. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a 200MP primary rear camera with an f 1.7 aperture. It is joined by a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f 2.2 aperture and a 10MP telephoto camera with an f 2.4 aperture and 3 times optical zoom.

The combination gives the phone a versatile rear camera setup. The high resolution main sensor is designed for detailed photographs, while the ultrawide camera can cover wider scenes and the telephoto camera handles closer subjects without relying entirely on digital zoom.

For selfies and video calls, the foldable phone includes two 10MP front cameras. Both are listed with an f 2.2 aperture. Having cameras available on different sides of the foldable design allows Samsung to offer separate options for users depending on how they hold and use the device.

The battery capacity stands at 4400mAh, with support for 25W fast charging. The battery is not the largest in the smartphone market, but Samsung has balanced the capacity with the requirements of its slim foldable design.

Connectivity options are also extensive. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 supports 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. This gives the phone support for current wireless standards and common features such as contactless connectivity.

The biggest attraction, however, remains the foldable form factor. The large inner screen provides considerably more space than a conventional smartphone, making it useful for multitasking, reading, browsing and watching content. The cover screen, meanwhile, allows users to handle everyday tasks without unfolding the device.

At the current listed price, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 sits in a different position from when it first arrived. A discount of this size can make a premium foldable more accessible, although buyers should always check the final price, bank eligibility and stock status before placing an order.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 may no longer be Samsungs newest foldable, but its 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and large AMOLED displays keep it firmly in flagship territory. For buyers who have been waiting for a price drop, the current offer could make the previous generation model more appealing.
