Vivo V80 May Launch Soon With 90W Fast Charging And New Certification
Vivo V80 has appeared in certification listings with a 90W wired charging detail, suggesting the standard V80 model could join the series after recent Lite variant launches.

Vivo appears to be preparing another smartphone for its V80 family, with the upcoming Vivo V80 now showing up in certification databases. The listing provides an early look at the phones model number and charging capability, although several important specifications are still unknown.
The smartphone has reportedly appeared in the Indonesian SDPPI database under model number V2648. The certification record identifies it as a mobile telephone associated with PT Vivo Mobile Indonesia and uses the Vivo V80 name.
The latest appearance is particularly interesting because Vivo has already introduced the V80 Lite 5G in global markets. The standard V80 could now be positioned as another addition to the lineup, although the company has not yet officially announced its launch date.
90W Charging Details Revealed
One of the more useful details comes from an earlier certification listing. The same V2648 model number was reportedly spotted in a TÜV certification database, where the device was listed with support for 90W wired fast charging.
This suggests that charging speed could be one of the notable features of the upcoming Vivo V80. However, certification information alone does not reveal the battery capacity or how quickly the phone will actually charge under everyday conditions.
Vivo has not yet provided an official specification sheet for the device, so details such as battery size, display, processor and camera system remain unknown.
Model Number And Certification Information
According to the reported SDPPI listing, Vivo V80 carries the model number V2648. The certification number mentioned for the device is 126079/DJID/2026, with the approval dated September 2, 2026.
The listing also indicates that the phone will be marketed under the Vivo V80 name. This strengthens the expectation that the device could represent the standard model in the companys V80 lineup rather than another Lite or special edition variant.
The certification does not necessarily mean that the phone will launch immediately. Smartphone manufacturers often complete regulatory approvals before making a formal announcement, so the actual launch schedule may be revealed later.
Vivo V80 Series Could Expand Further
The arrival of another V80 model comes shortly after Vivo introduced the V80 Lite 5G in the Malaysian market. That smartphone focuses on features such as a large battery, AMOLED display and 5G connectivity.
The upcoming V80 appears to be a different proposition, with its reported 90W charging support standing out from the information available so far. More specifications are expected to surface as the launch gets closer.
Vivo has yet to confirm the phones final design, camera configuration, chipset, RAM options or pricing. Therefore, these details should not be considered final until the company makes an official announcement.
Another Vivo Smartphone Appears
The same SDPPI database has also reportedly listed the Vivo X500 Pro Max under model number V2610. Its certification number is listed as 126078/DJID/2026.
The X500 Pro Max is expected to sit higher in the companys smartphone range. Earlier reports have suggested that it could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, 12GB of RAM and Android 17. These specifications, however, remain part of the reported information and have not been fully confirmed by Vivo.
With both the Vivo V80 and Vivo X500 Pro Max appearing in certification records, the company could have several new smartphones in development for upcoming markets. For now, the V80s 90W charging support is the clearest detail available, while its launch date and complete specifications are still awaited.
