The run began with Jana Nayagan, which released on July 23 after several delays. Starring Vijay, the film reportedly collected more than Rs 300 crore worldwide. Mamitha appeared as Vizhi and made her presence felt in the film.

Her next release, Vishwanath & Sons, arrived in theatres on August 14. The film, led by Suriya, has reportedly earned around Rs 240 crore worldwide. Mamitha’s performance was among the aspects that attracted attention, with the actress playing a lively young character before also delivering emotional moments in the story.

Just a week later, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit hit screens on August 21. The Malayalam film, featuring Mamitha alongside Nivin Pauly, has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark and is reportedly heading towards Rs 250 crore worldwide.

The success of the three films in such a short period has given Mamitha a notable box office run. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is also scheduled to reach Telugu audiences on September 4.

Mamitha’s popularity has grown considerably since Premalu, particularly among younger audiences. Her natural screen presence and performances have helped her attract attention beyond Malayalam cinema as well.

There are also a few interesting details about the actress. Her original name is reportedly Namitha, but a spelling mistake on her birth certificate resulted in the name Mamitha, which she continued to use.

She has trained in Kuchipudi and has openly expressed her admiration for Telugu cinema. She is also known to be a fan of Allu Arjun and has reportedly watched many of his films multiple times in theatres.

Her first Telugu film watched in a theatre was reportedly Magadheera. Coming from a family with a medical background, Mamitha has also spoken about how her father being a doctor influenced the way people viewed her while she was growing up.
