Series of Powerful Explosions Rock Dubai Industrial Zone as Investigation Continues
Multiple explosions were reported in Dubai's Jebel Ali industrial area triggering a major fire and raising questions over the cause while authorities continue assessing the situation.

A series of powerful explosions rattled Dubai on Tuesday night after blasts were reported in the Jebel Ali industrial area, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and alarming residents across nearby neighborhoods. Local reports said at least seven loud explosions were heard within a span of about twenty minutes.
The explosions were followed by a major fire at a facility believed to be used for fuel storage and logistics near the port area. Satellite imagery circulating after the incident appeared to show flames and heavy smoke rising from the warehouse complex close to the Jebel Ali Port, one of the world’s busiest commercial harbors.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the explosions, and details regarding casualties or property damage remain unavailable. Emergency response teams were deployed to the affected area as firefighting and safety operations continued.
Following the incident, reports from Iranian state media claimed that the explosions were linked to Houthi activity, while Iraqi sources alleged that missiles had been launched from Yemen. However, these claims have not been officially verified, and the United Arab Emirates has not issued a statement confirming the cause of the blasts.
With the investigation still underway, officials are expected to determine what triggered the explosions and assess the full extent of the damage. Further updates are anticipated once authorities complete their preliminary inquiry.
