Pakistan Earth Quake: Pakistan Hit by Second Earthquake Within Hours as Venezuela Disaster Death Toll Rises
Pakistan experienced its second earthquake within hours while Venezuela continued to battle the aftermath of devastating tremors that caused widespread destruction leaving hundreds dead and thousands injured across affected regions.

Pakistan Earth Quake: Pakistan was shaken by another earthquake on Saturday, marking the second seismic event to strike the country within just a few hours. According to the National Center for Seismology, the latest quake measured 5.4 on the Richter scale. Officials said there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage from either incident.
The earlier earthquake, which struck on Friday evening, registered a magnitude of 5.3. Pakistan frequently experiences earthquakes because it lies along the boundary of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates, making the region highly vulnerable to seismic activity.
While Pakistan escaped major damage, Venezuela continues to face a devastating humanitarian crisis following a series of powerful earthquakes. After twin earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck two days ago, another tremor of magnitude 4.9 was recorded on Friday, adding to the challenges for rescue teams.
Authorities confirmed that the death toll in Venezuela has climbed to 920, while around 3360 people have been seriously injured. Thousands of families have been affected as emergency responders continue searching for survivors.
Several buildings collapsed across the capital Caracas and other cities, causing extensive destruction. Reports indicate that more than 50000 people remain missing, raising fears that the number of casualties could increase further.
Large scale rescue efforts are underway across the affected regions. International teams made up of 871 specialists are assisting local authorities in searching through debris and providing emergency relief to survivors as recovery operations continue.
