Andhra Youth Missing in US: A young man from Andhra Pradesh has gone missing after being caught in flash floods in the United States, leaving his family anxiously waiting for news. The incident reportedly occurred in Kansas, where heavy rainfall caused sudden flooding in several areas.
The missing person has been identified as Doppalapudi Venkatesh, a native of Devarapalli village in Paruchuru mandal of Bapatla district. He had been living in Omaha, Nebraska, and was travelling through Wellington in Sumner County, Kansas, when the accident took place.
According to available information, Venkatesh was driving near South Oliver Road when rising floodwaters swept away his vehicle. Since the incident, search teams have been working to locate him, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
The incident has deeply distressed his family in Andhra Pradesh. Responding to the situation, Paruchuru MLA Eluri Sambasiva Rao appealed to Union Ministers Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, as well as Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh, requesting their intervention to coordinate with US authorities and speed up rescue efforts.
