Xiaomi appears to be preparing another entry in the foldable smartphone market, and the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold has reportedly surfaced online ahead of its official announcement.

A real life image shared by tipster ZionsAnvin on X shows what is claimed to be the new foldable device. The phone is seen in a burgundy shade and is reportedly being held by Xiaomi chief executive Lei Jun.

The leaked image gives an early look at the device, although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed either the phone’s name or the specifications circulating online.

Large Foldable Screen Expected

According to the leak, Xiaomi 18 Fold could feature a foldable display measuring between 7.5 and 7.6 inches. The device is also tipped to use Xiaomi’s upcoming Xring O3 processor, which would represent another step in the company’s development of its own smartphone chip technology.
