Vivo V70 Lite 4G Launch
Vivo has quietly expanded its V70 Lite lineup with a new 4G model. The Vivo V70 Lite 4G follows the V70 Lite 5G but takes a different approach, putting more emphasis on battery capacity and durability instead of 5G connectivity.

The standout feature is clearly the battery. The phone carries an 8100mAh cell and supports 44W wired charging. With such a large capacity, the device should comfortably handle a full day of regular use, while lighter users may be able to stretch it further.

The V70 Lite 4G also has a large 6.83 inch AMOLED display. It offers a 2800 by 1260 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making the screen suitable for everything from streaming videos to everyday browsing. An optical fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display.

Under the hood, Vivo has opted for the Unisoc T7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, using UFS 2.2 technology. The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Camera hardware is fairly straightforward. The rear setup combines a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Durability is another area where Vivo has given the 4G model some extra attention. The handset carries an IP69 rating, providing protection against dust as well as powerful water jets and high temperature water exposure under supported testing conditions.

The Vivo V70 Lite 4G is currently listed in Blue and White finishes in selected Eurasian markets. Vivo has not yet announced complete pricing and availability details for every market, so its wider international rollout remains unclear.

Vivo T5 5G Coming to India
Meanwhile, Vivo is preparing another smartphone for Indian customers. The Vivo T5 5G is expected to join the company’s existing T series, which already includes the Vivo T5 Lite 5G, Vivo T5x 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G.

A dedicated Vivo T5 5G landing page has appeared on Flipkart, confirming that the phone will be sold through the e commerce platform when it launches in India. Vivo has started revealing some of its key features, although the official launch date is still under wraps.

The company is highlighting the phone’s slim curved display. Vivo claims the T5 5G will have one of the thinnest 3D curved displays in its segment, with a frame measuring just 7.99mm.

The expected price positioning is also interesting. Vivo is promoting the device in the 34999 to 49999 rupee segment, suggesting that the Indian model should remain below the 50000 rupee mark.

AI is another part of the T5 5G’s pitch. Vivo has confirmed a GenAI ready NPU and is teasing improved AI performance. The phone is also expected to run OriginOS, with OriginOS 6 being the latest version from the company.

Vivo has yet to reveal the complete specifications and launch date for the T5 5G. More details are likely to emerge as the Indian launch gets closer, particularly around the processor, cameras, battery and final pricing.
