Tecno Spark 50 Pro Launch Brings 50MP Sony Camera Helio G100 Ultimate and AI Powered Features
New Spark series smartphone arrives with high refresh display fast charging large battery and strong durability focus along with multiple AI tools designed to improve daily user experience and photography performance
Tecno has expanded its Spark lineup with the official introduction of the new Tecno Spark 50 Pro smartphone. The device is designed to offer a balanced mix of performance, durability and smart features, targeting users who want a feature rich phone in the mid range segment. It comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset and introduces a 50 megapixel primary rear camera along with an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is also built with durability in mind. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water exposure. Along with this, Tecno has included SGS five star premium drop resistance certification, which adds another layer of protection for everyday use. The phone also maintains a slim profile with a thickness of just 7.8 mm, making it comfortable to hold.
In terms of battery life, the Spark 50 Pro offers two battery variants, 5600mAh and 6000mAh. Both versions support 60W wired fast charging, which the company claims can charge the device up to 63 percent in 30 minutes and reach full charge in around 55 minutes. This makes it suitable for users who depend heavily on long lasting performance throughout the day.
The display on the Tecno Spark 50 Pro measures 6.78 inches and supports HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. This ensures smoother scrolling and a more responsive visual experience while gaming or browsing. The device runs on Android 16 based HiOS 16, bringing updated software features and a cleaner user interface.
Photography is one of the key highlights of this smartphone. It features a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 600 primary sensor with an f1.8 aperture, designed to capture detailed and bright images even in challenging lighting conditions. On the front, the 8 megapixel camera handles selfies and video calling needs. The phone also includes dual stereo speakers with DTS sound support, enhancing the multimedia experience.
Tecno has added several AI powered tools to improve usability. These include AI writing assistance, AI health support, AI noise cancellation, AI eraser 2.0 and AI extender features. The device also supports live photo functionality and universal tone imaging technology, aiming to deliver more natural and enhanced image processing.
Connectivity options on the Spark 50 Pro include 4.5G support, standard 4G and FreeLink 2.0. The phone will be available in Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange and Cloud White color variants. However, the company has not yet revealed official pricing or sale dates for the Indian market.
