Tecno Pova 8, Realme 16 5G and Vivo V60e Face Off in Mid Range Smartphone Battle
Three powerful mid range smartphones from Tecno, Realme and Vivo compete across performance, display quality, cameras and battery life, giving users multiple strong options depending on their priorities and usage needs

The mid range smartphone segment has become one of the most competitive spaces in India, and the arrival of Tecno Pova 8 has added more heat to the ongoing battle. It now goes head to head with Realme 16 5G and Vivo V60e, both of which already have a strong presence in the segment. Each device brings a different strength, making the choice more about user preference than a clear winner.
Performance plays a key role in this comparison. Tecno Pova 8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, while Realme 16 5G uses the Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor. Vivo V60e steps slightly ahead in this race with the Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, offering a more balanced output for demanding tasks and multitasking.
Design and display experience vary significantly across all three phones. Tecno Pova 8 features a 6.76 inch Full HD Plus IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and high brightness levels for smoother visuals. Realme 16 5G comes with a 6.5 inch AMOLED panel that focuses on sharp contrast and ultra high brightness output, making it one of the brightest in the segment. Vivo V60e offers a 6.77 inch quad curved AMOLED display that brings a more premium feel with smooth viewing angles and a refined design language.
On the camera front, the differences become even more noticeable. Tecno Pova 8 includes a 50 megapixel rear camera paired with a 13 megapixel front shooter for basic photography needs. Realme 16 5G offers a dual rear setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a powerful 50 megapixel front camera designed for selfie lovers. Vivo V60e clearly leads in hardware strength with a 200 megapixel main camera supported by an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 50 megapixel selfie camera for high resolution imaging.
Battery performance is another deciding factor in this comparison. Tecno Pova 8 packs a massive 8000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, focusing on long backup. Realme 16 5G includes a 7000mAh battery with faster 60W charging, balancing endurance and speed. Vivo V60e comes with a 6500mAh battery but compensates with 90W fast charging, making it the quickest to recharge among the three.
Software experience also differs across devices. Tecno Pova 8 runs on HiOS based on Android 16, while Realme 16 5G uses Realme UI 7.0 on Android 16. Vivo V60e operates on Funtouch OS based on Android 15, offering a slightly different interface experience compared to the other two.
