Sony Bravia 7II 4K TV Series Launches With Premium Display and Smart Features

Sony expands its television portfolio in India with the Bravia 7II series featuring advanced RGB LED technology, Dolby Vision support, immersive audio enhancements and powerful AI driven picture processing.

Sony has strengthened its premium television lineup in India with the introduction of the new Bravia 7II series. Designed for users seeking a high end home entertainment experience, the latest range combines advanced display technology, intelligent image processing and immersive sound features across multiple screen sizes.

The newly launched Bravia 7II lineup is available in 55 inch, 65 inch, 75 inch and 85 inch variants, while a massive 98 inch model is expected to join the series at a later stage. Sony has positioned the television range as a premium offering aimed at movie enthusiasts, gamers and consumers who want superior picture quality.

At the heart of the new televisions is Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR, which analyzes content in a way that mimics human perception. This processor works alongside several image enhancement technologies to deliver more realistic visuals, improved contrast and better color accuracy. The company has also integrated its proprietary True RGB LED technology, which uses separate red, green and blue LEDs to produce richer colors and enhanced brightness levels.

Sony has further equipped the Bravia 7II series with RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology. This system improves local dimming performance, minimizes blooming effects around bright objects and delivers deeper contrast. The addition of XR Contrast Booster 20 helps create more dynamic images with greater depth and detail.

Picture quality remains a major focus for the new lineup. Sony’s XR Clear Image technology reduces visual noise and intelligently upscales lower resolution content to near 4K quality. Sports fans and gamers are expected to benefit from XR Motion Clarity, which helps maintain smoother motion during fast moving scenes.

The televisions support several premium visual formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and IMAX Enhanced. Sony has also introduced studio calibrated viewing modes for popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video and Sony Pictures Core. These modes automatically optimize picture settings to match the creator’s intended visual experience.

Audio performance has received significant upgrades as well. Models measuring 65 inches and above feature Acoustic Multi Audio Plus technology for more immersive sound delivery. Voice Zoom 3 with AI powered sound separation improves dialogue clarity, making conversations easier to hear even during action packed scenes. Sony has also included 3D Surround Upscaling technology that transforms standard audio into a virtual surround sound experience. Support for Dolby Atmos and DTS X further enhances cinematic audio quality.

The Bravia 7II series runs on the Google TV platform, offering access to a wide range of streaming applications and smart services. Users can control the television through voice commands using Google Assistant. Compatibility with Apple AirPlay 2, Apple HomeKit, Google Cast and Alexa enabled devices ensures seamless integration with various smart home ecosystems.

Gamers are also likely to appreciate the inclusion of HDMI 2.1 connectivity with support for 4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode. These features are designed to deliver smoother gameplay and reduced input lag when connected to modern gaming consoles.

Sony has also integrated its Pictures Core service with Pure Stream technology, allowing content streaming at speeds of up to 80Mbps for enhanced picture quality and a more premium viewing experience.

The 55 inch Bravia 7II model has been priced at Rs 2,21,990, while the 65 inch variant carries a price tag of Rs 2,74,990. Pre bookings are currently open through Sony’s official channels, with availability extending to retail outlets, online platforms and authorized sellers across India. Prices for the larger 75 inch, 85 inch and upcoming 98 inch versions are expected to be announced later.
