Samsung Galaxy A17 5G and F17 5G prices reportedly increased new leaked rates raise concerns ahead of official confirmation
Fresh leaks suggest a price hike for Samsung Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G variants across multiple configurations with revised rates reportedly effective from June 2026 though official confirmation from Samsung is still awaited

A fresh leak has sparked discussions in the smartphone market suggesting that Samsung may have increased the prices of its Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G models. While the company has not made any official announcement, the leaked information points toward revised pricing for multiple variants that could impact buyers planning their next purchase.
According to details shared by a tipster on social media platform X, a supposed internal retail notice from Samsung has revealed updated pricing for both devices. The document indicates that the price revision is said to be effective from 12 June 2026, although the authenticity of the notice has not been independently confirmed by the company.
The leak suggests that the Galaxy F17 5G lineup has seen an increase of around 1000 rupees across its variants. The 4GB plus 128GB model is now reportedly priced at 18999 rupees, while the 6GB plus 128GB version is said to cost 20999 rupees. The top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is claimed to be priced at 22999 rupees after the hike.
Similarly, the Galaxy A17 5G series is also said to have undergone a price revision across multiple configurations. As per the leaked details, the 6GB plus 128GB variant has increased from 21499 rupees to 22499 rupees. The 8GB plus 128GB model is reportedly now priced at 24499 rupees, up from 23499 rupees. The highest variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to have reached 28999 rupees from its earlier price of 27999 rupees.
The leaked document also mentions that a price protection adjustment may apply to channel partners, indicating that the changes are intended for retail distribution networks. References to Samsung Smart Partner portal in the document further suggest that this could be an internal communication meant for retailers rather than a public pricing announcement.
While speculation continues, Samsung has not officially confirmed any such price increase for either of the models. A review of listings across various platforms shows mixed pricing trends. The Galaxy F17 5G appears to be out of stock at its earlier listed price on Samsung’s official channels, while the Galaxy A17 5G continues to be shown at its previous pricing in some listings.
At the same time, e commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart are still offering discounts on both models, which adds further confusion for buyers trying to understand the actual current market price. Until an official clarification is issued, the reported price hike remains based on leaked information and should be treated with caution by consumers.
