Redmi Turbo 5 Launches in India with Massive 7540mAh Battery and Advanced Cooling for Gamers
Redmi Turbo 5 arrives in India with Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, 100W fast charging, 120Hz display and premium cooling system targeting heavy users and mobile gaming enthusiasts nationwide.

Redmi has officially introduced its latest Turbo series smartphone in the Indian market, bringing the Redmi Turbo 5 after its earlier debut in China. The new device is designed to attract performance focused users, especially gamers who demand long battery life, smooth display experience and strong processing power in a mid range segment.
What makes the Redmi Turbo 5 stand out is its massive 7540mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging support, allowing users to stay powered throughout heavy usage cycles with minimal downtime. The phone is also equipped with a dedicated 3D Ice Loop cooling system, which is designed to maintain stable performance during long gaming or multitasking sessions.
The device will be available in India from June 19 through Amazon, Mi.com and other offline and online retail partners. It comes in three colour options including Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue and Turbo White. The pricing starts at around 37,999 rupees for the 8GB and 256GB variant, while the 12GB and 256GB model is priced at approximately 40,999 rupees. Launch offers also include discounts of up to 2000 rupees on selected bank cards, making the deal slightly more attractive for early buyers.
At the core of the smartphone lies the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Users can further expand virtual RAM up to an additional 12GB for smoother multitasking. The phone runs on Android 16 based HyperOS 3, offering a refined software experience with improved optimisation.
The display is another major highlight, featuring a 6.59 inch 1.5K Fluid panel with a resolution of 2712 by 1220 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10 Plus, Dolby Vision and peak brightness levels up to 3500 nits. For added durability, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the body features an aerospace grade metal frame with a slim profile of 8.18mm.
Photography on the Redmi Turbo 5 is handled by a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50 megapixel primary sensor with OIS and EIS support and an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens. On the front, the device offers a 20 megapixel selfie camera designed for video calls and social media use.
In terms of durability, the smartphone carries multiple high level protection ratings including IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K, making it resistant to dust and water in demanding conditions. Connectivity features include 5G support, Wi Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type C, along with an IR blaster for added convenience.
