Redmi Note 17 Pro First Sale Brings Rs 3,000 Bank Discount

The Redmi Note 17 Pro is set to make its first appearance on sale in India tomorrow, giving buyers a chance to pick up the new smartphone at a lower effective price. The phone combines a large battery with a high refresh rate AMOLED display and a Snapdragon processor.

Redmi has priced the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model at Rs 36,999. The higher 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs 39,999. During the sale, selected bank card offers can bring the effective starting price down to Rs 33,999.

Customers using eligible SBI, Axis Bank or IDFC First Bank cards can receive an instant discount of up to Rs 3,000. There is also a cashback option of up to Rs 5,000 through HDB Financial Services, subject to the applicable terms.

The smartphone will be available in Cloud Blue, Purple Vibe and Stealth Black. Buyers can therefore choose between three different finishes depending on their preference.

One of the biggest attractions is the display. The Redmi Note 17 Pro features a 6.83 inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 1280 by 2772 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which can make scrolling and compatible content appear smoother.

The battery supports 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. The reverse charging feature allows the phone to provide power to compatible devices when required.

Redmi also says the battery is designed to retain 80 percent of its capacity even after six years. Actual battery performance and longevity can vary depending on usage patterns, charging habits and operating conditions.
