Realme C100i 4G India Launch Tomorrow With 6500mAh Battery And 120Hz Display

Realme is preparing to introduce the C100i 4G in India on August 27. The upcoming smartphone appears to be aimed at buyers looking for a budget friendly handset with a large battery and a smoother display.

Ahead of the launch, an image of the phone’s retail box has surfaced online. The packaging reveals several details about the Indian version, including its model number, dimensions, weight and maximum retail price. However, the actual selling price and specifications are yet to be officially confirmed by Realme.

According to information shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant could be priced at Rs 14,999 in India. The retail box, however, carries a maximum retail price of Rs 25,999 including taxes. The MRP printed on a box should not be confused with the final selling price, so buyers will have to wait for the official announcement.

The leaked packaging identifies the phone with model number RMX5399. It also lists a weight of around 210 grams and dimensions of 166.5 by 78.2 by 8.7 millimetres. The box reportedly indicates that the Indian unit was manufactured in July 2026.

The expected specifications suggest that battery life will be one of the major selling points. The Realme C100i 4G is tipped to feature a 6500mAh battery with 15W charging support. For people who spend long hours watching videos, browsing the internet or using social media, the larger battery could be a useful advantage.

The display is also expected to offer a 120Hz refresh rate. Reports point to a 6.75 inch HD Plus panel with a waterdrop style notch. A high refresh rate should make basic activities such as scrolling and navigating through applications feel smoother.

Performance is expected to come from the Unisoc T7250 chipset. The base Indian configuration is tipped to include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There are also reports of a 128GB storage option, although Realme has not confirmed whether that variant will be sold in India.

The phone could run Android 16 with Realme UI 7. If confirmed, this would give the C100i 4G a relatively recent software platform despite its entry level positioning.

Camera hardware appears fairly straightforward. The smartphone is expected to carry an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The focus of the device seems to be more on everyday usage, battery endurance and affordability rather than advanced photography.

For protection against dust and water splashes, the C100i 4G is expected to have an IP64 rating. Earlier promotional material also reportedly mentioned arm shell protection, a 36 month warranty and battery health coverage for up to five years. The exact terms and conditions of these claims have not been disclosed by Realme.

The retail package is also expected to include the handset, charger, USB data cable, SIM ejector tool, quick guide and a protective case. This could make the box relatively complete for buyers who do not want to purchase basic accessories separately.

Interestingly, the global version of the Realme C100i has different specifications. The international model features a slightly larger 6.8 inch display and a 7000mAh battery. It also supports LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

The Indian model, if the leaked information turns out to be accurate, will therefore have a smaller display and battery than its global counterpart. Even so, a 6500mAh battery would remain unusually large for an entry level 4G smartphone.

With the launch scheduled for August 27, most of the uncertainty should clear soon. The biggest details still waiting for official confirmation are the final selling price, storage variants and the complete specifications of the Indian model.

If Realme manages to keep the starting price close to the reported Rs 14,999 figure, the C100i 4G could attract buyers who value battery life and a smooth display more than high end performance or camera features.
