Oppo Reno 16 Pro Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch Reveal Expected Performance and Key Specs
Oppo Reno 16 Pro has appeared on Geekbench ahead of launch, revealing chipset details, RAM configuration, and performance scores, suggesting an imminent debut alongside the Reno 16 series in global markets soon

The Oppo Reno 16 series is steadily moving closer to its official debut, and early leaks suggest that both the standard and Pro models are gearing up for a global and Indian launch soon. Reports indicate the lineup may arrive as early as July 2, although the company has not officially confirmed the date yet. As anticipation builds, more benchmark and certification listings are slowly revealing what these upcoming devices might offer in real use.
In the latest development, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro has now appeared on the Geekbench platform, giving a clearer look at its internal hardware. The device is listed under the model number CPH2863, which earlier certification records have already linked to the global variant of the Reno 16 Pro. While the name is not directly mentioned in the benchmark listing, the pattern strongly points toward the same device preparing for launch.
According to the Geekbench data, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6899 chipset. The processor is an octa core setup with a mix of high performance and efficiency cores, including one core clocked at 3.40GHz, three cores at 3.20GHz, and four cores running at 2.20GHz. Industry reports suggest this could likely be the MediaTek Dimensity 8550, a chip expected to bring strong mid premium performance. Interestingly, a similar processor was also seen in the Chinese version of the Reno 16 Pro, hinting at a consistent global hardware strategy.
The listing further reveals that the device may come with around 12GB RAM, shown as approximately 11.18GB in testing, along with a Mali G720 MC8 GPU for graphics handling. On the software side, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top, continuing Oppo’s focus on a refined user interface and updated Android experience.
Performance scores from Geekbench also give an early idea of its capabilities. The Reno 16 Pro achieved 1575 points in single core and 5889 points in multi core testing on Geekbench 6.7.1. When compared to the standard Reno 16, which is expected to use a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset scoring lower in benchmarks, the Pro variant clearly positions itself as the more powerful option in the series.
With multiple leaks surfacing ahead of launch, the Reno 16 Pro is shaping up to be a performance focused smartphone aimed at users looking for a balance of speed, efficiency, and updated software experience. More official details are expected to emerge as the launch window approaches.
