Gold Rate Today August 9 2026 Gold Prices Stay Flat in Hyderabad While Silver Slips
Gold prices remained unchanged in Hyderabad on August 9, while silver declined slightly after rising strongly during August, keeping precious metal buyers closely watching daily market movements.

Gold prices in Hyderabad remained steady on August 9, 2026, with no change recorded compared with the previous day. The stable trend offers some relief to buyers who are waiting for a better opportunity to purchase the precious metal.
The price of 22 carat gold stands at Rs 1,39,650 for 10 grams, while 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,52,350 for 10 grams. On a per gram basis, 22 carat gold costs Rs 13,965 and 24 carat gold is available at Rs 15,235.
The unchanged rates also mean that gold has remained at the same level for two consecutive days. On August 8, 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 1,39,650 per 10 grams, while the 24 carat rate stood at Rs 1,52,350.
Silver prices, meanwhile, recorded a small decline. In Hyderabad, one kilogram of silver is priced at Rs 2,49,900 today, compared with Rs 2,50,000 on the previous day. This represents a reduction of Rs 100 per kilogram. The price of 100 grams of silver is Rs 24,990, while 10 grams costs Rs 2,499.
Despite the latest dip, silver has gained considerably since the beginning of August. The metal was priced at Rs 2,35,000 per kilogram on August 1 and has now reached Rs 2,49,900. That represents an increase of around 6.34 percent in just over a week. Silver also touched Rs 2.50 lakh per kilogram on August 6.
Customers should remember that the displayed gold and silver rates are not necessarily the final amount paid when purchasing jewellery. Gold jewellery bills generally include 3 percent GST along with making charges and other applicable charges, which can raise the overall cost.
Overall, gold prices in Hyderabad have stayed unchanged today, while silver has edged lower by Rs 100 per kilogram. Buyers planning to purchase jewellery should check the complete bill and applicable charges rather than relying only on the basic metal rate.
