Oppo Find X9 Series Set for May 21 Launch with Advanced 200MP Imaging and Massive Batteries
Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra on May 21 featuring next generation Hasselblad cameras, powerful processors, and large silicon carbon batteries designed for premium performance and photography focused users

Oppo is expanding its Find X9 lineup in India with the launch of two new flagship smartphones, the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra, scheduled for May 21. The company is positioning the series as a major upgrade in mobile photography, combining advanced optics, computational imaging, and refined video capabilities into a unified camera experience. Pricing and availability details are also expected to be revealed on the same day.
The new lineup introduces Oppo’s next generation Hasselblad Master Camera System along with the Lumo Image Engine. This imaging platform is designed to improve color accuracy, detail reproduction, dynamic range, and low noise performance by combining optical design with advanced sensor control and image processing. Oppo is clearly focusing on making photography and video recording more professional and consistent across different lighting conditions.
The Find X9 Ultra stands out as the most powerful model in the series. It is expected to feature a triple camera setup that includes a 200 megapixel primary sensor, a 200 megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. This combination is aimed at delivering strong performance for long distance photography, portraits, and cinematic video capture. The system is further enhanced by sensor shift stabilization and optical image stabilization to ensure steady shots in fast moving or low light environments.
Video capabilities on the Find X9 Ultra are also a major highlight. The device supports professional grade recording features such as O Log2, ACES color workflow, custom 3D LUT integration, 8K recording at 30fps, and 4K recording at 120fps. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform paired with Oppo’s Trinity Engine, which is designed to optimize performance during heavy video processing and high resolution shooting sessions.
To handle extended recording and intensive workloads, Oppo has added a next generation 3D Cryo Velocity cooling system with an encapsulated thermal unit and an ultra thin vapor chamber design. The smartphone also houses a large 7050mAh silicon carbon battery, aimed at supporting long usage without frequent charging interruptions.
Alongside it, the Find X9s offers a more compact flagship experience without compromising on imaging quality. It comes with a triple 50 megapixel Hasselblad camera system and supports dual video capture along with 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording across all lenses. The phone maintains a slim profile of 7.99mm while focusing on everyday photography and video needs.
The Find X9s is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor combined with Oppo’s Trinity Engine and an advanced vapor chamber cooling system. It also features a 7025mAh silicon carbon battery, making it a balanced option for users who want flagship performance in a lighter and more practical design. ColorOS 16 completes the package, offering improved software integration and imaging optimization across the system.
