OnePlus 15R Gets New 16GB RAM Variant in India With Premium Features and Strong Performance

OnePlus has expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the introduction of a new memory variant of the OnePlus 15R. The device, which was originally launched last year, is now available in a 16GB RAM configuration, offering users more multitasking power without any changes to its core hardware or design.

The new variant is priced at 61,999 rupees for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model. Meanwhile, the existing options include a base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant priced at 54,999 rupees and a 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version available at 59,999 rupees. Buyers can choose from Mint Breeze, Electric Violet and Charcoal Black colour options.

On the performance side, the OnePlus 15R continues to rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with Android 16 based OxygenOS 16. The phone also features stereo speakers, aiming to deliver a more immersive audio experience for entertainment and gaming users alike.

Interestingly, the launch of the new variant comes at a time when users are increasingly demanding higher memory options for smoother multitasking. With 16GB RAM, the device is positioned as a stronger option for heavy users who switch between multiple apps, games and productivity tools throughout the day.
