Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus Expected to Launch Soon in India With Premium Features
Motorola is preparing to expand its Edge 70 lineup in India with a new smartphone featuring advanced cameras, powerful performance, curved AMOLED display, and fast charging support.

Motorola is gearing up to launch another smartphone in its growing Edge 70 series for the Indian market. The upcoming device, expected to be called the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus, has already started generating attention online after appearing on the e commerce platform Flipkart through a dedicated promotional microsite.
The new smartphone is likely to become the fourth model in the Edge 70 family, which already includes the Motorola Edge 70, Edge 70 Pro, and Edge 70 Fusion variants. Industry observers believe Motorola is aiming to strengthen its premium smartphone portfolio by introducing more feature packed devices in the competitive upper mid range segment.
According to reports, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus will feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 710 primary sensor. The smartphone is expected to focus heavily on photography and video performance, an area where smartphone makers are competing aggressively in recent years.
Motorola is also expected to introduce the device in multiple Pantone inspired color options, including Pantone Chicory Coffee, Pantone Stormy Sea, and Pantone Zinfandel. The company has increasingly partnered with Pantone to give its smartphones a more premium and stylish design identity.
The design of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is said to resemble the existing Edge 70 Pro model. Leaks suggest the phone may feature a flat rear panel along with a square shaped camera module. On the front, users are expected to get a curved display with a centered hole punch cutout for the selfie camera, while the power and volume buttons will be placed on the right side.
Performance is expected to be another major highlight of the device. Reports indicate that the smartphone could offer up to 16GB RAM, allowing smoother multitasking and improved gaming capabilities. The device is also expected to feature advanced display technology for an enhanced viewing experience.
The existing Motorola Edge 70 Pro comes with a 6.8 inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 5200 nits. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset paired with the Arm Mali G720 MC8 GPU and runs on an Android 16 based operating system.
Camera capabilities on the Edge 70 Pro include a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization support, a 50 megapixel ultra wide autofocus camera, and a 50 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports connectivity features such as 4G, 5G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C.
Battery performance remains another strong point in Motorola’s Edge series. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro packs a large 6500mAh battery with support for 90W TurboPower fast charging, helping users recharge the device quickly during heavy daily usage.
Motorola recently launched the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Plus as well. The device features a 6.8 inch Super HD AMOLED display with HDR10 Plus support and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor paired with the Adreno 810 GPU and includes a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor.
With smartphone brands focusing more on premium cameras, battery life, and high refresh rate displays, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is expected to compete directly with several flagship level Android devices in the Indian market once officially launched.
