Mivi One 5G India Launch Set for September 24
Mivi One 5G will launch in India on September 24 as the company's first smartphone with Snapdragon 5G platform, 128GB storage, three colours and expected budget pricing details revealed soon.

Mivi is getting ready to step into India’s smartphone market with its first handset, the Mivi One 5G. The company has confirmed that the phone will be introduced on September 24, marking a new chapter for the Indian audio brand.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to target the affordable 5G segment. While Mivi has not announced the final price yet, reports suggest that the handset could be positioned below Rs 15000. If that pricing becomes official, the phone will compete directly with several popular budget 5G devices in India.
Mivi has confirmed that the One 5G will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G mobile platform. However, the exact processor name has not been revealed by the company so far. This means reports suggesting a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset should not be treated as confirmed specifications at this stage.
A Geekbench listing had previously shown a Mivi related device with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 6GB of RAM and Android 16. However, these details have not been officially confirmed for the One 5G, leaving some room for uncertainty ahead of the launch.
Storage is one specification that Mivi has confirmed. The One 5G will come with 128GB of internal storage. The company has not yet revealed how many RAM configurations will be available, so buyers will have to wait for the official announcement for those details.
The design has already been shown through the company’s promotional material. The phone features a flat rear panel with a pill shaped camera section positioned toward the upper left corner. Two camera sensors and an LED flash can be seen inside the module.
A flat middle frame is also part of the design, while the bottom section houses a USB Type C port. The overall appearance keeps things fairly simple, which fits the phone’s expected affordable positioning.
Mivi will offer the One 5G in three colour options. Burgundy, Blue and Green are the variants shown by the company so far. These colour choices give the first smartphone a distinct identity as Mivi moves beyond its established audio product range.
The company is also taking a local approach to production. Mivi says the One 5G will be made in India and that it is working with Qualcomm, Flipkart and Google as part of its smartphone launch plans.
Flipkart will be the sales partner for the handset. A dedicated online presence has already been created around the phone, suggesting that the company is preparing the device primarily for online buyers when it goes on sale.
Some specifications have surfaced through reports, although they should be considered unofficial until Mivi confirms them. The phone is expected to feature an HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 50 megapixel primary camera and a battery of around 6000mAh have also been mentioned.
If these reported specifications turn out to be accurate, the One 5G could offer a combination aimed at users who prioritise battery life, a smoother display and a capable main camera without moving into a higher price category.
The battery could become an important part of the phone’s appeal, especially in the budget segment where users often look for longer usage between charges. However, Mivi has not yet confirmed the exact battery capacity or charging specifications.
Camera details are similarly incomplete. The reported 50 megapixel main sensor could give the handset a competitive starting point, but the quality of the final camera experience will depend on the sensor, image processing and software features.
For now, Mivi is keeping several important details under wraps. The exact Snapdragon processor, RAM options, display specifications, camera setup, battery capacity and final price are expected to become clearer around the launch.
The September 24 launch will therefore be significant for more than just the phone itself. It will mark Mivi’s first attempt to compete in the highly crowded Indian smartphone market, where affordable 5G phones are already widely available.
With 128GB storage confirmed, three colour choices, a Snapdragon 5G platform and a possible price below Rs 15000, the Mivi One 5G has already created interest ahead of its debut. The final specifications and pricing will decide whether the company can make a strong first impression.
