Lenovo Launches Compact Workstation Laptop With 96GB RAM and Stunning OLED Display
Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 with powerful AMD AI processors, massive 96GB RAM support, OLED display options and long battery backup for professional users worldwide.

Lenovo has expanded its premium workstation lineup with the launch of the new ThinkPad P14s Gen 7, a compact yet highly powerful laptop designed mainly for professionals who need strong performance in a portable form factor. The latest model arrives with upgraded AMD Ryzen AI Pro processors, large memory options and a high quality OLED display that targets creators, developers and business users looking for workstation level capabilities in a lightweight device.
One of the biggest highlights of the new ThinkPad is its memory configuration. Lenovo is offering multiple DDR5 5600 RAM options starting from 16GB and going all the way up to an impressive 96GB. This makes the laptop suitable for heavy multitasking, advanced editing workflows, coding, data analysis and AI based applications. Storage options are equally strong, with support for PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 SSDs up to 2TB capacity.
The laptop is built on AMD’s latest Gorgon Point platform and comes with processor options including the Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440 and the more advanced Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 470 chipset. These processors are designed to deliver faster AI driven computing along with improved power efficiency for demanding workloads.
Lenovo has also focused heavily on display quality. Buyers can choose from several screen variants depending on their requirements. The standard models feature a 14 inch WUXGA IPS display, while higher variants offer brighter panels with touch support, full sRGB coverage and low blue light certification for comfortable long hour usage.
The standout option in the lineup is the 14 inch 2.8K OLED display that supports a 120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 500 nits brightness. It also offers complete DCI P3 color coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, making it attractive for designers, video editors and visual creators who require rich color accuracy and deeper contrast.
Battery performance is another major focus in the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7. Lenovo has equipped the laptop with a standard 60Wh battery, while users who need extended usage can choose the optional 75Wh battery variant. This gives professionals more flexibility during travel or long working hours away from charging points.
Connectivity options on the laptop are extensive. Lenovo has included USB A ports, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, RJ 45 Ethernet, headphone jack, nano SIM support and even a smart card reader. The laptop can also be configured with Qualcomm Snapdragon X61 sub 6GHz 5G connectivity, allowing users to stay connected even while traveling.
The compact workstation has initially launched in the European market. In the UK, the base variant powered by the Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440 processor with 16GB RAM starts at around 1990 Euros. In Australia, the starting price is listed at AUD 2979. Lenovo has not yet confirmed launch timelines for additional global markets.
With workstation level hardware packed into a slim 14 inch design, Lenovo appears to be targeting professionals who want desktop grade power without carrying bulky laptops. The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 combines premium display technology, advanced AI processing and large memory support, making it one of the most feature rich compact workstations currently entering the market.
