iPhone 20 Pro Reportedly Testing Larger Quad Curved Display

Apple is reportedly working on a major design update for its future iPhone lineup, with the iPhone 20 Pro expected to receive special attention as the company approaches the 20th anniversary of the iPhone.

The upcoming model is still some time away, but details about early prototypes have already started appearing. According to reports, Apple is testing different versions of the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max, with the display size and overall screen design among the areas being considered for a major change.

The latest information comes from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, who has reportedly shared details about the display dimensions being tested. The information is based on early prototypes, meaning Apple could change the specifications before mass production begins.

The iPhone 20 Pro is reportedly being tested with a 6.41 inch display. The panel could have a resolution of around 2686 by 1236 pixels. The larger iPhone 20 Pro Max, meanwhile, is said to be undergoing testing with a 6.96 inch screen and a resolution of approximately 2912 by 1340 pixels.

If these reported dimensions make it to the final products, the iPhone 20 Pro would have a slightly larger display than the Pro models from the iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 generations. The increase is expected to be around 0.1 inch, although the final measurements could change during development.

Apple could also promote the larger panel as a display approaching the seven inch category. Despite the increase in physical size, the reported pixel density is expected to remain around 460 PPI, which would allow the company to maintain a high resolution viewing experience.
