Honor Watch 6 Plus Launched With AI Coach and 17 Day Battery Life

Honor has introduced the Watch 6 Plus with advanced AI health tools, AMOLED display, sports tracking and long battery backup, targeting users looking for premium smartwatch features at competitive pricing.

Honor has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Honor Watch 6 Plus, in the Chinese market with a strong focus on health monitoring and AI powered fitness features. The new wearable arrives with a premium racing inspired design, a bright AMOLED display and battery life that the company claims can last for weeks on a single charge.

The smartwatch has been introduced in multiple variants and strap options. The Vitality Edition Shadow Black model starts at around Rs 18200, while the standard Shadow Black version is priced close to Rs 19600. Honor has also launched Racing Gray, Brown Leather Strap and Flying Blue Composite Strap editions. According to the company, pre orders have already begun in China and official sales will start from May 29.

Honor has given the Watch 6 Plus a sporty and stylish look with a hexagonal dial design. The watch includes a rotating crown and a dedicated physical button for easier navigation. Buyers can choose between fluororubber, composite and leather strap variants depending on their style preferences.

One of the biggest highlights of the smartwatch is its 1.46 inch AMOLED display. The screen offers a resolution of 464 x 464 pixels and supports up to 3000 nits peak brightness, making outdoor visibility easier even under direct sunlight. Honor has also added support for animated and video watch faces to improve customization options.

The company is positioning the Watch 6 Plus as a health focused wearable. It supports real time heart rate monitoring, blood pressure tracking and sleep apnea detection. Honor has also included a feature called Heart Rate Reduction that is designed to assess the risk of sudden cardiac problems and alert users when abnormal conditions are detected.

Fitness enthusiasts are expected to benefit from the smartwatch as it supports more than 120 sports modes. Activities such as running, badminton and football receive dedicated professional analysis reports. The watch also comes with AI Coach and AI based running posture analysis tools to help users improve their workouts and performance.

Honor has further expanded the smartwatch experience with smart AI features powered by DeepSeek LLM technology. The built in YOYO Voice Assistant can handle voice commands and assist users with daily tasks directly from the wrist.

In terms of connectivity, the smartwatch supports Dual Band GPS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Bluetooth calling and voice recording. It also carries 5ATM and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for outdoor activities and workouts. The watch includes both a speaker and microphone for calling functionality.

Battery performance is another major attraction of the Honor Watch 6 Plus. The smartwatch packs a large 1000mAh battery. Honor claims users can get up to 17 days of usage in standard mode, while the long battery life mode can stretch usage up to 35 days depending on usage patterns.

With AI features becoming increasingly important in wearable technology, Honor appears to be targeting users who want more than just basic fitness tracking. The Watch 6 Plus combines long battery life, health monitoring and premium design in a package aimed at competing strongly in the growing smartwatch segment.
