Honor 600S 5G Launches With 8100mAh Battery and IP69K Protection
Honor 600S 5G has arrived in Hong Kong with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon chipset, 50MP camera, huge battery and strong protection against dust and water.

Honor has expanded its affordable 5G smartphone lineup with the launch of the Honor 600S 5G in Hong Kong. The new handset focuses heavily on battery endurance and durability while also bringing a high refresh rate display, 5G connectivity and several software features.
The smartphone has been introduced in Desert Gold, Misty Purple and Velvet Black colour options. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at HK$1,999, which is approximately ₹15,600. It is available through Honor’s official website and selected retail stores in Hong Kong.
A standout feature of the Honor 600S 5G is its 8100mAh battery. This is significantly larger than the batteries commonly seen in smartphones in this price category. The handset supports 45W wired charging, allowing the large battery to be replenished more quickly.
Honor has also made a long term battery health claim for the device. According to the company, the battery is expected to retain more than 80 percent of its original capacity even after five years.
The display measures 6.87 inches and uses a TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1592 by 720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 1020 nits of peak brightness.
Honor has included features such as DC dimming, dynamic dimming, low blue light support and dark mode. These additions are intended to make the screen more comfortable for different usage conditions.
Performance comes from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor. The phone offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while Honor’s RAM Turbo technology can provide up to 16GB of virtual memory.
The handset runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10. Honor has also added several AI based functions, including AI Memory, Circle to Search, AI Image Removal and AI Summary. Another feature allows users to generate videos from images using AI.
On the camera front, the phone carries a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. A 5MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls. The device supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution.
Durability is another major selling point. The Honor 600S 5G comes with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water. This makes the handset particularly interesting for users who want a phone that can better handle demanding everyday environments.
Other features include stereo speakers, NFC support and a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 168.3 by 78.54 by 8.30mm and weighs 216.5 grams.
With its 8100mAh battery, 45W charging, 120Hz display and multiple protection ratings, the Honor 600S 5G offers a specification package that stands out in the affordable segment. However, the company has launched the device in Hong Kong for now, and there is no confirmed information about its availability or pricing in India.
