TSRTC Extends Outsourcing Conductor Recruitment Deadline

TSRTC has extended the outsourcing conductor recruitment deadline until December 31 to address staff shortages, allowing regional offices to continue hiring eligible candidates across multiple regions.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has extended the deadline for recruiting outsourcing conductors until December 31 as part of its efforts to tackle the ongoing shortage of conductors across the state.

The decision allows regional offices to continue appointing conductors through existing manpower agencies for another six months. The extension has been approved by TSRTC Managing Director Nagireddy with the consent of the Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer.

The revised recruitment period now covers July 1 to December 31, replacing the earlier schedule that was set to end on June 30. Officials believe the move will help ensure uninterrupted bus services by filling vacant conductor positions in time.

Regional Managers in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Warangal, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Khammam have been authorized to carry out the recruitment process in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

Candidates who have passed the SSC examination or an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for the outsourcing conductor posts. TSRTC expects the extension to improve manpower availability and strengthen public transport operations across the selected regions.
