Temple Funds for Telangana: Temple development projects in Telangana received major support through TTD Srivani Trust funds with actor Tanish welcoming the allocation and thanking state leaders.

Temple Funds for Telangana: Several temple development projects across Telangana are set to receive significant financial assistance after funds from the TTD Srivani Trust were approved for six temples located in the Telugu states. The move has drawn appreciation from religious and public representatives who view it as an effort to preserve shared cultural heritage.
Telangana Jana Sena leader and actor Tanish expressed happiness over the allocation, noting that a major share of the sanctioned amount has been directed toward temples in Telangana. He thanked the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for supporting the initiative.
The Andhra Pradesh government recently approved the release of Rs 9.55 crore from the Srivani Trust for temple development and renovation activities. Of this amount, Rs 6.19 crore has been earmarked for three temples situated in Telangana, reflecting what supporters describe as a commitment to preserving spiritual and cultural traditions beyond state boundaries.
Among the beneficiaries, Sri Mahakaleswara Temple at Dommata in Siddipet district received the highest allocation of Rs 4.60 crore. Another Rs 1.09 crore was sanctioned for the Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Kinchanpalli in Sangareddy district, while Rs 50 lakh was approved for the Sri Giri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Secunderabad.
The remaining funds were allocated to temples in Andhra Pradesh. These include Rs 50.85 lakh for the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Siddayyagutta in Dharmavaram, Rs 1.5 crore for the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Munagapaka of Anakapalli district and Rs 1.10 crore for the Sunkulamma and Maremma Temple in Hussainapur of Kurnool district.
Tanish said the decision reflects a broader vision of protecting the common spiritual heritage shared by Telugu speaking people. He added that such initiatives help strengthen cultural bonds and contribute to the restoration and preservation of historic temples.
The allocation is expected to support infrastructure upgrades, renovation works and improved facilities at the selected temples, helping preserve important places of worship for future generations.
