Rain Alert for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as Weather Changes Over Next Three Days

The weather department has forecast light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms and gusty winds across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the next three days as monsoon conditions strengthen.

Weather conditions are expected to change across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the next three days, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting light to moderate rainfall in several districts. The changing weather pattern is linked to the active southwest monsoon and atmospheric systems over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the forecast, a cyclonic circulation and an associated trough over the Bay of Bengal are likely to trigger scattered showers across many parts of both states. While widespread heavy rain is not expected, several areas may experience intermittent rainfall during the period.

Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are also likely to witness gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. Officials have advised residents, especially farmers, to remain alert and take necessary precautions to protect crops and outdoor equipment from sudden weather changes.

In Telangana, skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy, with Hyderabad and nearby districts likely to receive evening or nighttime showers accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Residents have been advised to stay cautious during periods of unstable weather.

Daytime temperatures across Telangana are expected to range between 28 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius, while night temperatures may fall to around 23 degrees Celsius. Despite occasional sunny spells during the day, the weather may change quickly with clouds building up and rain arriving unexpectedly.

Authorities are closely monitoring the evolving weather systems and have urged the public to follow official forecasts as conditions may vary from one district to another over the coming days.
