Praja Palana Programme Ends: Telangana Concludes 99 Day Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika Drive
The Telangana government completed its 99 day Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika initiative, clearing over one lakh pending files while accelerating rural development and strengthening citizen participation across the state.

Praja Palana Programme Ends: The Telangana government has successfully completed its ambitious 99 day Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika programme, marking a major administrative exercise focused on faster governance and improved public service delivery. The initiative began on March 6 and continued uninterrupted until June 12.
One of the biggest achievements of the programme was the disposal of 1,06,598 long pending files that had remained unresolved across various government departments. Officials worked intensively during the campaign to address these cases, providing relief to thousands of citizens who had been waiting for solutions to their issues for years.
Alongside administrative reforms, the programme also placed significant emphasis on rural development and community participation. Gram Sabhas were conducted in 12,758 village panchayats, while Ward Sabhas were organized in 3,175 municipal wards. These meetings enabled authorities to directly interact with residents, understand local concerns, and prepare development plans based on community needs.

The government also advanced several infrastructure projects during the 99 day campaign. Foundation stones were laid for Stree Shakti Bhavans in 7,292 villages, 131 warehouses aimed at supporting the agriculture sector, and 577 work sheds designed to create local employment opportunities.
A notable feature of the initiative was the large scale public response. Authorities received 15,76,219 applications from citizens across the state and initiated steps for their resolution. The programme is being viewed as an effort to improve accountability within the government system while bringing governance closer to the people.
Officials said the campaign has helped streamline administration, improve service delivery, and strengthen the connection between citizens and government institutions. The successful completion of the programme is expected to support future development and welfare initiatives across Telangana.
