Indiramma Towers: Hyderabad to Get 7,680 New Indiramma Flats
Telangana has started the approval process for Indiramma Towers, with 7,680 flats planned across 16 locations and each unit covering about 528 square feet including common areas.

Indiramma Towers: The Telangana government has moved ahead with its plan to provide housing for economically weaker families in the Hyderabad region. Officials have begun processing construction permissions for the proposed Indiramma Towers.
The project covers 16 locations across three municipal corporations, where the government plans to develop a total of 7,680 homes. The buildings are expected to come up as nine and ten storey towers on government land identified for the project.
Following the recent foundation ceremony led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at Kukatpally Housing Board area, officials from the housing department submitted applications seeking construction approvals. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation are examining the proposals.
Town planning officials have started checking land ownership documents, site records and construction plans. Since the project involves multi storey towers, separate building permissions are expected to be processed for individual towers.
The proposed flats will have a built-up area of 528.58 square feet, including common areas. The project design also provides for basic facilities and shared spaces within the residential complexes.
Among the planned locations are Mailardevpally, Jalpally, Red Hills, Niloufer area, Jubilee Hills, Kulsumpura, Nandimusalaiguda, Patigadda, Amberpet, Gaddiannaram, Raidurg, Bandlaguda, Kowkoor, KPHB Colony, Pocharam, Gajularamaram and Boinpally.
Several applications covering thousands of homes have already entered the approval process. Officials are now working to complete land verification, technical assessments and other formalities so that construction can begin soon after the required permissions are granted.
The government plans to take up the construction in phases, with the aim of speeding up the delivery of homes to eligible beneficiaries across the city.
