Tragedy on Mount Everest as Two Indian Climbers Lose Their Lives
Two Indian mountaineers died while descending Mount Everest after completing their climb, casting a shadow over a record breaking expedition on the world's highest peak.

A successful Everest expedition turned into a heartbreaking incident after two Indian mountaineers lost their lives while returning from the summit. Nepal authorities confirmed that the climbers died during the descent, bringing sorrow to the mountaineering community.
The deceased were identified as Arun Kumar Tiwari and Sandeep Are. Officials stated that both climbers faced extreme exhaustion while coming down from the mountain. Guides reportedly made repeated efforts to assist and rescue them, but the attempts could not save their lives.
The tragedy came during what had initially been seen as a remarkable achievement on Mount Everest. On Wednesday, a group of 274 climbers reached the summit, setting a record for one of the largest numbers of successful ascents on a single day.
Among the Indian members of the expedition were Sandeep Are, Tulasi Reddy Palpunuri and Ajay Pal Singh, according to Nepal expedition operators. While Sandeep Are died during the descent after reaching the summit, Arun Kumar Tiwari later lost his life while returning with another climbing group on Thursday evening.
The incident once again highlights the dangers associated with high altitude mountaineering. Even after reaching the summit, climbers often face severe weather conditions, low oxygen levels and extreme physical exhaustion during the journey back. For many in the climbing community, the tragedy serves as a reminder that the descent can sometimes be as challenging as reaching the top itself.
