MBBS Second Round Counselling Begins in Telangana
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences has started second round MBBS counselling for convenor quota seats, with web options open until September 14 and allotment scheduled for September 15.
The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences has opened the second round of MBBS counselling for seats under the convenor quota in Telangana.
Candidates taking part in the process have been asked to enter their web options by 1 pm on September 14. The university will release the seat allotment results on September 15.
The counselling process gives eligible medical aspirants another opportunity to secure an MBBS seat based on the available vacancies and their choices. Candidates are expected to carefully check the available options before submitting their preferences.
The university has also announced the schedule for management quota admissions. The first round allotment of MBBS and BDS seats under the management quota will be released on September 16.
Candidates who are participating in the counselling should keep track of the university updates and complete the web option process within the prescribed deadline. Missing the deadline could affect participation in the current round.
Research and Industry Linkages Need Strengthening
Separately, the ICAR Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research in Hyderabad held a National Consultancy and Industry Interface Meet to discuss ways of improving oilseed productivity and taking new technologies to farmers faster.
IIOR Director R K Mathur said stronger cooperation between research institutions and industry is needed to improve the productivity of oilseed crops. He stressed that closer coordination could help move useful technologies from laboratories to farmers more quickly.
During the meeting, IIOR showcased several oilseed varieties, hybrids and bio based technologies developed by the institute to representatives from the industry.
The event also resulted in memorandums of understanding with several organisations, aimed at strengthening cooperation in research and technology related areas.
Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University Vice Chancellor P V Satyanarayana attended the programme as the chief guest. Maha Seeds Managing Director Dileep Swamy was present as the special guest.
The discussions focused on building stronger links between agricultural research and industry, with the broader aim of improving oilseed production and ensuring that modern farming technologies reach growers more effectively.
