Telugu Desam Reaches 8.16 Million Families in 29 Days
The Telugu Desam Party’s statewide outreach campaign has crossed 8.16 million families in just 29 days, taking the coalition government’s welfare and development message directly to households.

The Telugu Desam Party’s Door to Door Telugu Desam campaign is gaining momentum across Andhra Pradesh, with party leaders and workers continuing their visits to households and interacting directly with residents.
The campaign, titled Two Years of Trust Development and Welfare, was launched to explain the coalition government’s development and welfare initiatives while also understanding how people view its performance on the ground.
On Monday, the campaign completed its 29th day after party representatives visited 232,568 households in a single day. With this latest round of visits, the total number of families contacted since the campaign began has reached 8.164 million.
Party leaders say the response from the public has encouraged workers to continue the campaign with greater enthusiasm. During the visits, they are explaining welfare measures aimed at farmers, women, youth, poor families and the middle class.
The outreach is not limited to explaining government schemes. Party workers are also asking residents about local issues and concerns, with an emphasis on understanding problems that may require attention at the ground level.
The growing participation of both party workers and residents has added momentum to the campaign. Telugu Desam leaders said the initiative is becoming broader through direct public participation and continued interaction at the household level.
