A Telugu student from Hyderabad who completed his master’s degree in the United States died after reportedly struggling with stress during a prolonged search for employment.

Telugu Youth Dies in US: A young man from Hyderabad who recently completed his master’s degree in the United States has died after reportedly facing emotional distress during his search for a job.
Sai Pradeep, known to his family as Deepu, had moved to the US in 2024. He was from Srinivasa Nagar Colony in Dammaiguda, Hyderabad, and had been living with his brother in San Antonio, Texas.
After completing his master’s degree from Anderson University of Business, Sai Pradeep had been looking for employment for around four months. According to his family, the uncertainty surrounding his job search gradually affected him and left him under considerable mental pressure.
His brother Sai Praneeth said that Sai Pradeep died by suicide in his room on August 21. The family described him as a sensitive person and said the difficulties he faced while trying to secure suitable employment had taken a serious emotional toll.
The family is now seeking financial assistance to bring his body back to Hyderabad. Relatives have shared appeals for donations to help cover the expenses involved in transporting him home.
The incident has left the family and their local community deeply saddened, with relatives remembering the young graduate and the hopes he had after completing his studies in the US.
