KBR Park One Way: KBR Park One Way Traffic Rules to Start From August 18

Hyderabad Traffic Police will introduce one way traffic around KBR Park from August 18 as underpass construction begins, with officials preparing new routes and monitoring traffic conditions.

KBR Park One Way: Hyderabad Traffic Police will introduce a one way traffic system around KBR Park from August 18. The move comes as construction work for underpasses is taken up around the park.

Traffic police officials said the necessary arrangements have already been completed. Lane markings and lane changers have been placed at required locations, while traffic signboards have been installed at important junctions to help motorists follow the revised routes.

Traffic personnel will also be deployed around key locations throughout the day to assist commuters and manage vehicle movement. In order to make it easier for commuters to plan their trips using Google Maps and other navigation services, authorities have also worked on improving navigation routes.

The new traffic arrangement will be closely monitored through the Integrated Command and Control Centre and the existing CCTV network. Police will also use drones to track traffic conditions in real time and identify areas where congestion may develop.

Officials said traffic patterns will be reviewed after the one way system comes into effect. If necessary, changes will be made based on the situation on the ground.

Hyderabad Traffic Police Commissioner Sajjanar has advised commuters to plan their journeys in advance and allow for possible changes in travel time while the new system is being implemented.

The one way arrangement is expected to remain an important traffic measure during the underpass construction period around KBR Park.
