Trump Turkey Exit: Donald Trump reportedly left Turkey aboard a smaller military aircraft after a carefully planned security operation during the NATO summit, according to a Washington Post report.

The report said Trump had initially arrived in Turkey on the new Air Force One aircraft gifted by Qatar. However, security officials reportedly expressed concerns about using the aircraft in Turkey because of the country’s proximity to Iran.

A discreet plan was then allegedly arranged at Ankara airport. Trump was seen boarding Air Force One in front of cameras, giving the impression that he would leave Turkey on the presidential aircraft.

But according to the report, the US president was moved after entering the aircraft. An airport catering truck was reportedly used to transfer him to a smaller military plane waiting on the runway.

The move was apparently kept secret from the travelling media and some White House staff. They believed Trump remained aboard Air Force One.

The smaller military aircraft reportedly took off for Britain before the larger presidential plane left Ankara. Trump’s aircraft later arrived at RAF Mildenhall at around 10:20 pm that night.

The reported operation underlines the level of security planning surrounding presidential travel, particularly when the US president is visiting strategically sensitive locations.
