Trainee IPS Uday Krishna Reddy Questioned in Sexual Harassment Case
Police have begun custodial questioning of trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy after court approval as investigators seek crucial evidence in the sexual harassment case involving a fellow trainee officer.
The investigation into the alleged sexual harassment case involving a trainee IPS officer has entered a crucial phase, with Uday Krishna Reddy undergoing custodial interrogation at Attapur Police Station. The court recently granted police permission to keep the trainee IPS officer in custody for two days to facilitate the investigation. Following the order, officials from the Women Safety Wing began questioning him under the supervision of DCP Lavanya.

Uday Krishna Reddy was arrested on July 28 after a case was registered based on allegations of sexual harassment made by a woman trainee IPS officer. Since then, the investigation has continued under the relevant legal provisions.
Police officials stated that the custodial interrogation is an important part of the investigation and that all available evidence will be examined before further legal steps are taken. Authorities have not disclosed additional details, citing the ongoing nature of the probe.
