Police investigating the case against trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy have uncovered fresh evidence examined digital devices recorded multiple witness statements and identified another woman linked to the accused.
The investigation into allegations against trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy has taken a significant turn, with investigators uncovering additional evidence that could strengthen the case. Police say the probe has widened beyond the initial complaint, bringing new individuals and material evidence into focus.
As part of the investigation, officers searched the accused’s room in Hyderabad’s Ashok Nagar area and seized several items, including a laptop, mobile phone, handwritten letters and a knife. The recovered material is now being examined to establish its relevance to the ongoing case, while digital evidence is also under forensic scrutiny.
Investigators have also identified another woman from Andhra Pradesh who is believed to have shared a close association with the accused over an extended period. According to the investigation, she had been married since 2014 and was living separately from her husband in recent years. Officials are examining the nature of her interactions with Uday Krishna Reddy as part of the broader inquiry.
Sources connected to the investigation indicate that the woman had reportedly changed her workplace after receiving guidance from the accused. It is also alleged that he proposed a live in relationship, but she declined because her legal marital status had not changed. After later learning about the allegations made by the complainant, she is said to have distanced herself from him.
Police have further gathered evidence suggesting that the accused allegedly entered the complainant’s room without permission and forcibly took away her mobile phone. Investigators are verifying every allegation through witness accounts and technical evidence to ensure the findings are legally supported.
The case is being supervised by senior police officials, and investigators have already recorded statements from nearly twenty witnesses. Authorities are now preparing to seek police custody of the accused to continue questioning and gather additional information that may assist the investigation.
