Swarnalatha Rangam Prophecy Draws Attention at Secunderabad Bonalu Festival

The grand Bonalu celebrations at the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad reached their final stage as thousands of devotees gathered to witness the traditional Rangam prophecy. The spiritually significant ritual remains one of the most anticipated moments of the annual festival, drawing devotees from across the region.

During the Rangam, Matangi Swarnalatha expressed strong concern over the current state of society. She questioned why people continue to seek divine answers if they fail to follow the guidance already given. Her emotional remarks urged devotees to reflect on their actions and live with greater responsibility and devotion.

Swarnalatha also spoke about the coming months, stating that the year could witness intense rainfall and weather related challenges. She cautioned that excessive rains might create dangerous situations in several places and warned of the possibility of loss of life and fire related incidents. She further remarked that social values are weakening and called on people to uphold moral principles.

She added that devotees who establish her idol with faith and devotion would receive divine blessings and have their sincere wishes fulfilled. Her words attracted the attention of thousands present at the temple premises, where devotees listened carefully to every part of the traditional prophecy.

With the completion of the Rangam ceremony, the Bonalu festivities entered their concluding phase. Following the ritual, preparations were made for the ceremonial procession of Goddess Mahankali on the decorated Ambari, marking the symbolic end of this year’s celebrations amid a massive gathering of devotees.
