Petrol and Diesel Prices Remain Unchanged as Fuel Rates Stay Stable Across Major Cities

Amid concerns over a possible increase in fuel prices due to rising global crude oil costs, Indian consumers have received some relief as oil marketing companies have left petrol, diesel, and CNG prices unchanged. The latest fuel rates released on Friday show no revision, indicating that retail prices remain stable for now.

The announcement comes at a time when international oil markets continue to witness volatility. Geopolitical tensions and concerns over crude oil supplies have raised fears of higher fuel prices in several countries. However, despite these developments, domestic fuel prices have not been revised in the latest daily update.

Oil Marketing Companies revise fuel prices every morning at 6 am based on several factors, including international crude oil prices, exchange rates, transportation costs, and taxation. According to the latest update, there has been no change in petrol, diesel, or CNG prices across major Indian cities.

In Hyderabad, petrol continues to be priced at Rs 115.59 per litre, while diesel is available at Rs 103.82 per litre. The retail price of CNG in the city remains around Rs 97 per kilogram.

Petrol prices in other major cities also remain unchanged. Delhi continues to sell petrol at Rs 102.12 per litre, Mumbai at Rs 111.18, Chennai at Rs 107.77, Bengaluru at Rs 110.93, Kolkata at Rs 113.47, Thiruvananthapuram at Rs 115.49, Noida at Rs 102.12, Gurugram at Rs 102.77, Bhubaneswar at Rs 109.92, Chandigarh at Rs 98.10, Jaipur at Rs 112.66, Lucknow at Rs 102.05, and Patna at Rs 113.35 per litre.

Diesel prices have also remained steady across the country. A litre of diesel is currently priced at Rs 95.20 in Delhi, Rs 97.83 in Mumbai, Rs 99.82 in Kolkata, Rs 99.55 in Chennai, Rs 98.80 in Bengaluru, Rs 95.44 in Gurugram, Rs 95.56 in Noida, Rs 100.92 in Bhubaneswar, Rs 86.09 in Chandigarh, Rs 97.78 in Jaipur, Rs 95.55 in Lucknow, Rs 99.36 in Patna, and Rs 104.40 in Thiruvananthapuram.

CNG prices have also remained stable in several cities. Consumers currently pay Rs 83.09 per kilogram in Delhi, Rs 86 in Mumbai, Rs 82.25 in Ahmedabad, Rs 91.70 in Gurugram and Noida, Rs 90 in Bengaluru, Rs 90.91 in Jaipur, Rs 91.50 in Chennai, Rs 92.50 in Pune, Rs 93.50 in Kolkata, and Rs 95.75 in Lucknow.

Although international crude oil prices continue to fluctuate due to global developments, the latest update suggests that domestic consumers will not face an immediate increase in fuel prices. Industry observers, however, continue to monitor global energy markets closely, as any prolonged rise in crude oil prices could influence future revisions in petrol and diesel rates across the country.
